  This American Legion I can't say enough good about. They came through when the Park United Methodist Church canceled our dinner we had planned with them for a memorial dinner service. This dinner was after a memorial service for my uncle who had served the church for 60 years. We were unsure what to do but my father contacted the Legion because he and my uncle are both Veterans. They not only welcomed us with open arms they helped us with anything and everything. I should also say the church had agreed to do the dinner but canceled 4 days before the funeral. The American Legion said, "Military Brothers help Military Brothers ". The honor and respect was emense and we are grateful. Thank you to all the men and women who are currently and have served in the military. Thank you to the Pulaski American Legion for helping us honor, my uncle, Pratt Balcom, and making this memorial reception a success. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I want to also add, this Legion also supplied a hospital bed for my uncle when we needed it for his care. They go beyond to help people in need.
